Dondero High School Marching Band

Dondero Marching Band Parents:

On Saturday, September 15, 2001 the Dondero High School Marching Band will
participate in the Novi Fanfare held at Novi High School. The contest will begin at 1:45
and includes 26 bands. We will be staying through the Flight III and IV awards
ceremony which is at 4:00.

Please try and make it out to see our first competition of the year, the students would love
the support. Adult tickets will be sold through Mr. Foreman during the week and on
Saturday before we leave. Tickets are $5.00, and the proceeds help repay the $150 entry fee
that the band has to pay for the contest. Checks should be made payable to Dondero
Band and Orchestra Boosters.

The following is the tentative time schedule for Saturday:

9:00 - Pit Rehearsal
10:00- Winds, Battery, and Color Guard report, Full Rehearsal
11:45- Load Buses
12:45- Arrive at Novi, unload
1:00 - Lunch/Home Room Time (lunch, get changed, go to the bathroom)
2:00 - Meet at Home Room
2:15 - Warm Up
2:55 - Report to Gate
3:00 - Performance
3:15 - Watch remaining performances
4:00 - Awards Ceremony for Flight III & IV
4:30 - Gather belongings from Homeroom, load truck, load buses
5:00 - Leave for Dondero
10:00- Arrive at Dondero
